​The Tax Manager has mastered the role of Senior Tax Accountant and manages all current and potential matters for their assigned clients with minimal oversight or review. One can only become a Tax Manager after he or she has a demonstrated a long history of performing the duties of Senior Tax Accountant while suffering very very few mistakes or lapses in judgement. The Tax Manager is the face of the firm to their assigned clients and can bind the firm in routine client matters with minimal input from their superiors.
A Tax Manager is a relied-upon-professional and enjoys the confidence of their clients without fail. Clients don’t second-guess what a Tax Manager says. A Tax Manager has all of the skills to independently “go out on their own” and make a living if they choose to, yet will stay with the Company in order to take advantage of the synergies of the firm’s employees and processes to grow the Company’s profit, reputation, and prestige while always striving to improve upon their knowledge of the subject matter over which they preside

​A Staff Tax Accountant, or Staff Tax CPA, is a finance professional primarily responsible for helping individuals and organizations file their tax returns and meet other tax legal deadlines and requirements. In order to help individuals and organizations do this, a Staff Tax Accountant must master the duties of Bookkeeper and also understand all facets of the payroll process (wages and withholding requirements)
